Skyways Group held its 36th Annual General Meet (AGM) which witnessed electrifying business, motivational and tech talk sessions and presentations from August 8th to August 10th at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi.
S.L. Sharma, Chairman, Skyways Group inaugurated the event and in his address acknowledged the stupendous efforts of every single employee of the group which helped the company to achieve the significant growth over the years. He also thanked the Board Members for their dynamic, prudent and unbiased handling of all company affairs.
The chairman emphasized on 4Ts of management – Time Management, Transparency, Technology and Time Spirit and assured that the stated policy of the company was of holistic growth of each of its team members by offering them opportunities, infrastructure and learning platforms.
One of the key speakers of the event, Pawan Agarwal, Founder & President – Mumbai Dabbawallas in his engaging session touched the heart, mind and soul of attendees through real-life stories of Mumbai’s dabbawallas. He spoke about the importance of time management and explained how the dabbawalas plan, organize & deliver dabbas on time.
His presentation was on the ground operations of the Mumbai Dabbawallas with an insight on their recruitment, training and work culture.
Yashpal Sharma, Managing Director of Skyways Group gave solid insights into the Group’s activities of last year and introduced ‘Skyways 2.0’ which is more aggressive and more socially responsible.
Mr Sharma shed light on the new products launched by Skyways last year – Cuddle and D-Tox and how the same are beginning to take shape and creating a sizable mark in their respective fields. He also mentioned the opening of two new offices in India at Panipat and Jaipur and the Global footprint expansion through a new office in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
He launched a new tagline for Skyways Group – “Moving with you.” He explained the concept of this new tag which is to ensure all our group activities and actions are done to move with our Customers, Principles, Vendors and team members.
Mr Sharma also informed present dignitaries about the addition of 3 new companies in the Skyways family – MyLogistics Gurukul, Phantom Express and sKart Global Express in his address.
