Pradeep Panicker takes over as CEO of Hyderabad airport

GMR Hyderabad International Airport’s (HIAL) Pradeep Panicker was elevated to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Tuesday as he took over the reins by replacing SGK Kishore in this role.

Prior to this, Mr Panicker was the deputy CEO of HIAL, a position he had been serving since January 2018. Before that, he served the GMR Delhi International Airport in different roles and responsibilities for 13 years since he joined in 2004.

Mr Panicker was also associated with Mumbai SEZ Development Company, Feedback Ventures and L&T Finance, prior to this role.

Domestic operations have been going on in the GMR-led Hyderabad International Airport, ever since the Centre decided to resume operations of domestic flights.

The airport had recently received the highest Platinum Recognition in the Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific Green Airports Recognition 2020 in the 15-35 million passengers per annum (MPPA) category
