Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC) Logistics Data Services has appointed Ichiro Oshima as the new CEO. NEC Technologies India (NECTI) has announced the news of appointment with effect from April, 2019.
DMICDC is a joint venture between the government of India represented by National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT), and NEC Corporation. DMIC is an infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as ‘Smart Cities’ and converging next-generation technologies across infrastructure sectors.
Praising Oshima’s strong leadership quality, Alkesh Kumar Sharma IAS, CEO and MD of DMICDC said, “Mr. Oshima is an accomplished leader and will further expand DLDS’ business operations. Under his strong leadership, DLDS will not only flourish but will also strengthen the Indo-Japan relationship together with NEC Corporation.”

Prior to the appointment, Oshima was the director of DMICDC Logistics Data Services Limited and simultaneously serving as the associate vice president at NEC Technologies India. He will still be continuing at his current role at NECTI.
