In a string of corporate promotions made to the management, leading air freight forwarder Skyways Group announced the corporate promotions of Rohit Sehgal, Himanshu Chhabra and Rajiv Hariramani in its management.
The announcement was made by S.L. Sharma, the Group’s Chairman and Yashpal Sharma, the Group’s Managing Director.
Rohit Sehgal and Himanshu Chhabra were promoted from Executive Director to Whole Time Director
(Full-fledged Board member and Shareholder) of Skyways Air Services Private Limited (the flagship
Company of Skyways Group). Rajiv Hariramani, Vice president – Air Freight was promoted to Executive
Director – Air Freight.
Rohit has been part of the group since 1996 and will continue to be responsible for the Company’s Global
Logistics Business and lead the future global expansion of the Group while Himanshu has been part of the Group
since 2010 and will continue to lead the Group’s Finance, Accounting and be a key part of the core Business
Strategy team. Rajiv Hariramani, Vice President – Air Freight was promoted to Executive Director.
Rajiv will continue to be responsible for the growth of the Air freight Business B2B and B2C segments.
“We are pleased to announce the promotions of Rohit, Himanshu and Rajiv to the new leadership positions and these promotions are part of the Group Vision to do an ‘all-inclusive growth”, shared Mr Sharma.
He further complemented and highlighted the substantial role that the three have displayed since being a part
of the Group. “Their tireless and selfless efforts have been one of the major reasons for the Group’s growth
over the last couple of decades”, he highlighted.
Skyways Group, which started in 1983 from a small office in New Delhi and only 4 personnel, has now
expanded to become one of the leading Logistics Indian MNCs with over 30 offices in India,
Vietnam, Bangladesh and Germany.
