Menzies Aviation join hands with IT major Wipro to “transform” its air cargo management services, the company said on March 9.
Menzies will improve business efficiency, employee experience, and customer service thorough increased automation by utilizing a new product, developed by Wipro.
The cargo handling product designed by Wipro uses cloud-native technologies. The company highlighted that the product will result in increased transparency and real-time-tracking.
By the end of 2023, Menzies will roll out the Wipro product to five air cargo locations — Bucharest in Romania; Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland in New Zealand; and Macau in China. The London headquartered aviation company have plans to further implement the product across its global network by the end of 2024.

According to Omkar Nisal, Managing Director UK & Ireland, Wipro, the collaboration enables them to leverage the company’s extensive technological capabilities, along with Menzies’ vast cargo-handling experience, to “deliver a product that will help revolutionize the air-cargo industry”.
