At a recent industry gathering held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Uffizio introduced Setu, a platform designed to address a persistent challenge, the fragmentation between buyers and suppliers.
The platform was introduced by Hiten Patel, COO, Uffizio, who positioned Setu as more than a marketplace, describing it as a connective layer for the telematics ecosystem. By bringing hardware providers, software platforms, and service partners onto a single interface, it aims to overcome long-standing issues of disconnected systems and compatibility.
Importantly, Setu is not an open marketplace. It is designed exclusively for Uffizio’s existing clients and partners, creating a more controlled and reliable ecosystem for transactions and integrations.
Setu enables buyers and suppliers to operate within the same environment, reducing friction in sourcing, integration, and deployment.

A key differentiator is its built-in financial layer. Through Setu Credit, users can access credit against product purchases, adjustable against software billing. The platform also includes a Setu Wallet, where consistent purchases earn redeemable points, alongside financing support to ease upfront costs and enable new projects.
“The idea behind this product comes from a simple reality: there are many small system integrators with strong project pipelines but limited access to funds. The initial investment is often high, and there hasn’t been a structured way for them to source cost-effective systems. As a result, many projects get delayed or remain unrealised.
With Setu, we want to change that. By reducing costs through a unified marketplace and offering financial support, we aim to enable small-scale integrators to start, sustain, and grow their businesses with greater confidence,” Hiten explained while speaking with LI.
For suppliers, Setu opens access to a wider, potentially global network of system integrators and buyers within Uffizio’s ecosystem, without the need for constant outreach. It creates a ready-demand environment, allowing greater focus on deliveries.
Uffizio aims to onboard around 300 users within a year, targeting a significant share of system integrators in its network.
The launch positions Setu as more than a transactional platform, an effort to build a connected, financially enabled ecosystem that accelerates deployment and simplifies collaboration across the telematics value chain.
