In a significant boost to Karnataka’s industrial and logistics ecosystem, TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks has signed a ₹200 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka at the Invest Karnataka Conclave 2026.
The agreement, formalised in Bengaluru, signals a strategic expansion by TVS ILP in southern India, with a clear focus on developing next-generation, tech-enabled industrial and logistics parks. The move is expected to strengthen the state’s position as a key manufacturing and distribution hub while supporting employment generation and supply chain efficiency.
The MoU was signed between Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, and M. B. Patil, Karnataka’s Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, in the presence of senior government officials and industry stakeholders.
A Strategic Southern Expansion
The proposed investment comes at a time when Karnataka is witnessing sustained growth across manufacturing, e-commerce, FMCG, and automotive sectors. TVS ILP’s latest move builds on its existing footprint in the region and aligns with its broader strategy to scale integrated industrial infrastructure in high-growth markets.
The company plans to develop Grade-A and built-to-suit facilities, particularly around the Bengaluru region, catering to evolving requirements of industries ranging from third-party logistics to startups and consumer-driven businesses.
Speaking on the development, Dr. Subramaniam highlighted Karnataka’s strong industrial fundamentals and connectivity advantage, positioning it as a gateway to both southern and western markets. He noted that the company remains focused on delivering infrastructure that supports modern supply chains and dynamic business needs.
Karnataka’s Logistics Advantage Deepens
Karnataka’s appeal as an investment destination continues to strengthen, backed by a robust multimodal infrastructure network that includes national highways, rail corridors, ports, and air connectivity. Large-scale initiatives such as the Bengaluru–Mumbai Economic Corridor are expected to further enhance freight movement and industrial linkages.
The state government’s proactive approach through policy support, investor facilitation, and targeted incentives has also played a key role in attracting capital-intensive projects like this.
Scaling Industrial Infrastructure
TVS ILP currently operates 14 industrial and logistics parks across South India, housing tenants from a wide range of sectors. The latest investment is expected to accelerate the company’s growth trajectory while reinforcing Karnataka’s emergence as a logistics and manufacturing powerhouse.
As supply chains become increasingly complex and demand-driven, such investments underline a broader shift towards integrated, technology-led infrastructure that can support India’s next phase of industrial growth.
