Tata Croma has leased 309,000 square feet of warehousing space from ESR at its Gurgaon Sohna logistics park, marking it as the company’s largest distribution center in North India, said ESR’s CEO Abhijit Malkani.
Housed under the 76.84-acre ESR Sohna Logistics Park, inside the KMP circle, the distribution center for Croma will lessen and improve the retailer’s last-mile delivery difficulties in Delhi and the surrounding areas.
In a future-proof, sustainable setting, “this Grade A green facility will let Croma scale its operations in north India, deploy automation, and develop a long-term value chain,” claimed Malkani.
Recently, LAS Ventures said that it is in discussions to create a $300 million fund to build grade A warehouses around the nation to meet demand from the manufacturing, third-party logistics, and e-commerce industries.
The Delhi-based warehousing company’s one million square foot facility in Sohna, Gurgaon, is currently being built and is in its first phase, which is anticipated to be finished by November of this year. The building is next to the logistics park of ESR.
Sohna is among the most important location for warehousing in northern India. The recent and planned infrastructure improvements will improve the area’s accessibility and provide for speedier access to Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR).
