Saurabh Kumar, who until recently handled GMR Group’s Cargo & Logistics business as its CEO, has now moved on to join the Chennai headquartered Kaleesuwari Group as its CEO.
Kaleesuwari Group is Rs 5000+ Cr dominant FMCG player in South India with several marquee, market leading brands across Edible Oil, Food and other Consumer Product segments. Some of leading brands of the Company include Gold Winner, Cardia, Eldia, Orysa, Fedora, Dheepam & Sree Gold.
Taking in his new role as the CEO of Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited (KRPL), Saurabh will be based in Chennai and lead the existing FMCG business with focus on growing the non-SFO categories, new product launches, geographical expansion as well as driving the Group’s foray into Adjacent and New lines of Businesses. He will also play a prime role in driving the Corporate Strategy for the Group.
Saurabh has had a successful stint with GMR Group as the CEO of GMR Cargo and Duty Free Retail Businesses. Before joining GMR, Saurabh worked with Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) and Ernst & Young (E&Y) in the Strategy and Management Consulting space.
