Saurabh Kumar, CEO – GMR Cargo, took to LinkedIn earlier today to announce that he will be moving on from his responsibilities with the GMR Group. In his role with GMR Group, Saurabh was responsible for overseeing cargo operations at the Hyderabad International Airport.
Starting with the SEZ Business in 2010, his journey in GMR included positions across various segments of the group including Hyderabad Airport City, International Airport, Duty Free Retail and finally, onto the GMR Cargo Business. He spent the last 4 years incubating and growing the Cargo Business into a multi-airport platform.
An engineer by qualification, Saurabh has been working with the GMR Group for the past 12 years. He has been instrumental in taking forward GMR’s principles through his work at the Hyderabad Airport.
