Saudia Cargo spreads its wings in Europe & Africa to increase global network

Saudia Cargo has become the largest player in the Kenya-Europe market after adding four weekly freighter flights from Nairobi airport to Europe with a total of 11 flights per week. The airline adds new freighter flights alongside extra belly capacity onboard Saudia passenger flights to increase network capabilities.  

Also, the company added an additional flight to Khartoum International Airport via a 777F aircraft.

Saudia Cargo which covers over 900 destinations in 127 countries also added a second additional weekly freighter flight to operate on Tuesday and Thursday to JFK Airport in New York via LGG Airport in Liege, Belgium by a 747-400F freighter aircraft.

Earlier in June, the company launched a new station in Athenes & Marakesh to enhance its global presence & improve its logistical capabilities in order to answer the growing demand for Air Cargo & Ground Handling Services.

Earlier in June, Saudia Cargo transported 175 tons of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) equipment to Jeddah from Maastricht in the Netherlands, for the WWE event that took place at King Abdullah Sports City.

The air freight carrier provided all its logistical capabilities to bring the WWE wrestling ring equipment of the show that were forwarded by Sound Moves via Saudia Cargo freighters — Boeing 747-8 and Boeing 777 — carrying total tonnages of 175 tons and delivered on May 22. The company also provided special ground handling for the heavy loads at King Abdul Aziz International Airport’s cargo station.
