WIZ Freight is working toward strengthening its top tier leadership team and the latest addition to it is Mr. Pranav Malik. He has joined Wiz Freight as the Associate Director – Food and FMCG. At WIZ, Mr. Malik aims to optimise the EXIM supply chain requirements for the food and FMCG sectors with tech-based solutions.
“There are multiple key factors that need to be considered while planning the logistical requirements of the food industry, given the compliance requirements and the sensitive nature of the product. The primary focus will be towards creating a sustainable tech-driven support for the food and perishables industry to meet their requirements.” said a WIZ statement.
Mr. Malik will also take steps to build domain expertise by forming successful alliances and bringing on knowledge partners, which will allow WIZ to better serve its large customer base in the food vertical. He also plans to create a supportive and easier system for new entrants in the food trade with regulatory and operational requirements for ease of doing business.
He has 22 years of experience in EXIM operations, vendor management, global sourcing, procurement, and demand & supply planning with leading food brands. His last employment was with Del Monte Foods as Head EXIM – Operations and Demand.
