Now Hiring: Ecom Express announces plan to absorb over 7000 employees across verticals

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus has caused economic and employment ambiguity. At times when organisations are compelled to cut on their workforce, Ecom Express announced today that it is planning to hire over 7000 employees.

The full-time openings in the next two months spans will be across business functions such as last-mile delivery, warehousing management, operations, information technology and data sciences. And, will represent 25% of the company’s total workforce.

The technology-enabled end-to-end logistics solutions provider will be hiring the new workforce across the country including metro cities i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad as well as cities including Ahmedabad, Surat, Chandigarh, Indore, Patna, Lucknow, Kanpur, Bhopal and Jaipur.

The company has drafted plans to hire around 35,000 employees till the beginning of this year’s festive season to prepare itself for the surge in online shopping backed by festival sales and increasing preference to doorstep deliveries.
