Madhya Pradesh government is organising an investor meet – Magnificent Madhya Pradesh Summit 2019 at Brilliant Convention Center in Indore on October 18. Kamal Nath, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will present the development agenda of MP government for Textile, Food & processing, Smart Industrial Township (SIT) in Pithampur, Logistics and Warehousing space in the summit.
In order to make Madhya Pradesh a successful industry hub in India, MP government is giving the best incentives, reimbursement, cultivated land support, transport and power support to the industry investors.
Magnificent Madhya Pradesh Investors’ Summit 2019 is a flagship event of Madhya Pradesh government to provide a direct platform to industry leaders and investors to connect with the government. Direct interaction of Chief Minister Kamal Nath with the industry leaders is the key highlight of the summit.
Leaders from the industry, corporate and the government will share the stage for the comprehensive development of state and industry at the event. Eight thematic sessions, each focused on different industrial sectors, have been proposed to brainstorm on the leading practices and the way ahead to tap the opportunities.
To facilitate and boost investment, the state government has taken much-anticipated business reform in terms of policies and ease of doing business. With an aim of rebuilding the trust of trade fraternity among the industry leaders the Madhya Pradesh government is organising the summit.
Madhya Pradesh maintains 1,20,000 acres of an industrial land bank which include 48,000 acres of a developed industrial area with 900 MCM water reserved for industrial usage. The state has over 23,000 MW of installed power capacity. For strengthening warehousing facility and freight movement, the state utilises a network of 7 Inland Container Depots.
Additionally, International Air Cargo facility is available at Indore. A massive road network of 2,30,000 kilometres provides last-mile connectivity in each and every district of the state. Apart from this, the state produces more than 200,000 technical professionals every year ensuring availability of skilled manpower for industries.
Madhya Pradesh enjoys a strategic location being surrounded by five other states of the country. This gives MP unlimited access to nearly 50% of the country’s population and after implementation of GST, the state’s territorial importance has increased manifold.
The investor summit aims to bolster the confidence of investors to invest in Madhya Pradesh by leveraging state’s ample resources. The direct platform supports an objective to connect the entrepreneurs with the government to realise the investor-friendly approach of the state government. The vision of the state government is to boost private sector investment with pro-investment policies and implementation of industrial projects at a swift pace.
