Mahindra Logistics recently announced a key appointment to its senior management team, appointing Vishal Sharma as Vice President of Transportation and Procurement, effective from May 17, 2023. Sharma brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role with about three decades in the logistics industry.

Sharma has held strategic leadership positions across various industries and regions. He has successfully managed business portfolios characterized by their scale and complexity, contributing to their growth and success.

His previous stint at Adani Enterprise showcased his exceptional abilities in managing operations and commercials. He oversaw a significant spending base in coal and other commodities, reaching over 2000 customers in India through road and rail and led three separate business segments, demonstrating his versatility and leadership capabilities.

Sharma holds an impressive educational background, and his professional accomplishments are further enhanced by his Life Fellow status in several prestigious organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, the Indian Institution of Technical Arbitrators, the Institution of Engineers (I), the Indian Institute of Materials Management, and the National Safety Council.

Mahindra Logistics is optimistic that Sharma’s appointment will contribute significantly to the company’s growth and success.
