The global freight logistics company Kuehne+Nagel today launched its AI-enabled road logistics platform eTrucknow in India through a virtual event held in presence of top company officials and their vendors and distributor. The new platform seamlessly connects the supply and demand of road logistics via a digital marketplace, bringing a faster way for customers to book trucks and an easier way for carriers to unlock business opportunities.

eTrucknow was initially launched in July last year in Thailand, a market where the road freight industry is projected to grow to a market size of over USD 31 billion by 2023.

The digital trucking ecosystem offers instant quote & book, real-time track and trace (alerts on truck movement, weather conditions and traffic alerts), management of complex operations with ease through SaaS solution and integrations with company’s ERP systems.

This road logistics cloud solution technology is designed to eliminate the common challenges faced by customers such as inaccurate updates of in-transit shipments, optimization of trucks and route, sort out large volume of paperwork, consolidation of information and schedule on multiple systems and use of data available for businesses analytics and business intelligence to continuously improve performance and cost.

The application has been develop keeping in mind the requirements of the Indian market with a multi-sensor widget management.

eTrucknow platform will also help customers distinguish the COVID-19 hotspots across India based on the pin codes and display the type of zones. Further, it will give a map view of the view the tentative radius of the alerted pin codes which will eliminate any kind of health hazards and increase further efficiency in operation at such unprecedented time.
