Participants are evaluated on their ability to plan freight movements, manage transportation networks, ensure documentation accuracy, comply with customs regulations, calculate costs and resolve operational challenges.
Begum’s achievement also highlights the role of India’s vocational training ecosystem in developing globally competitive talent. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, through the Skill India initiative, has been promoting industry-aligned vocational education and professional training. The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) coordinates India’s participation in WorldSkills and supports the development of the country’s skills competition ecosystem through initiatives such as IndiaSkills.
Her journey, from studying logistics in Hyderabad to gaining industry experience and securing international recognition, underscores the value of combining formal education, practical exposure and structured skills training.
