Gati-KWE, express logistics major and an Allcargo Group company, has upgraded its logistics solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by integrating a gamut of useful customized and solutions-based offerings.

By adding beneficial service features, the Gati-KWE aims to propel growth-focused SMEs towards their goals and accelerate growth in the burgeoning SME sector of the country. The company is also intensifying its reach among
SMEs in metros as well as in tier-2 and 3 cities.

Apart from offering technologically-advanced domestic air and surface logistics solutions for the SMEs, as a part of its latest service offerings, Gati-KWE has launched deferred service offerings for companies with low bandwidth of last mile distribution spend but are willing to compromise on TAT.

For SMEs catering to multi brand outlets (MBOs), the express logistics major has introduced seamless and tech-enabled multi-location pick up services which can be accessed through ‘Genie’, a WhatsApp chatbot offering instant assistance or customer portal on their website.

With Allcargo Group bringing in leading global practices and leadership excellence, Gati-KWE offers one window end-to-end logistics solutions to the SMEs comprising domestic surface and air services and LCL/FCL services for exports.

The logistics solutions of Gati-KWE for SMEs are customizable as per the budget and actual service requirements.
Gati-KWE aims to enhance revenue share/business contribution from SME segments from 30 per cent to 50 percent in the next two years banking on differentiated service offerings, strong digital initiatives such as chatbot, AP integrations, automations, etc.

“We have always been an SME-centric organisation and witnessed a significant growth in this segment. Our deeper engagement with the SME sector has actually propelled us to expand our network and operational reach through continuous addition of OU (operating units) and channel partners. SMEs have emerged as the engine of growth for the economy.”

~Manish Jain, National Head-SME, Gati-KWE

He added,”Thanks to the growing internet penetration, the geographical periphery of the potential markets of a
number of SMEs is always increasing, so is the growth potential. Our tech-driven logistic solutions have been helping new-age growth-focused SMEs develop a well spread-out distribution network across India to scale businesses sustainably and grow exponentially. To make our services more impactful, we are customising our services as per the specific requirements of SMEs from tier 2, 3 cities and beyond with the same vigour as that for a key account in a metro location”.

SMEs have been playing a key role in driving the economy through manufacturing, trading
and service businesses. There are approximately 55 million registered and unregistered MSME units, constituting 95% of the total industrial units in the country. SMEs employ about 120 million (1.2 crore) people i.e. 42% of India’s workforce, contributing 45% of the total manufacturing output. SMEs also contribute approximately 48% of exports.
Gati-KWE’s robust delivery networks consist of 540 operating units, 1,35,954 Delivery locations reaching out to 19,000+ pin codes across India.

The company has presence in all 95 tier 1, 2, 3 cities and covers all 5000 tier 4 cities though direct or extra service locations (ESS). The express logistics major has been continuously converting its ESS locations into direct
locations to achieve its goal to serve all 5000 cities as direct locations soon.
