Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) – the apex body of Government recognised Export Promotion Councils, Commodity Boards, and Development Authorities in India – has organised the ongoing LOGIX India 2023 in Mumbai. This year marks the 4th edition of the event, which comes at the most opportune time and will further complement the National Logistics Policy (NLP) to its beneficiaries.
During the inaugural session on the first day, Dr. Ajay Sahai (Director General & CEO, FIEO) presented the initial remarks, which was followed by Dr. A Sakthivel (President, FIEO), Mr. Shankar Shinde (Chairman, FFFAI), Mr. Shantanu Bhadkamkar (Immediate Past President, AMTOI), and Ms. Nadia Abdul Aziz (President NAFL, UAE) addressing the participants. The keynote address was given by the Chief Guest Mr. Uday Ravindra Samant (Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Govt. of Maharashtra). Vote of thanks was presented by Mr.Paresh Kantilal Mehta (Regional Chairman, FIEO Western Region)
The next day’s conference was bifurcated into 4 panels namely, ‘Creating Global Logistics Linkages with India – Plenary Session’, ‘Creating Global Linkages with India – Outbound Opportunities’, ‘Making India a Global Hub – Challenges & Opportunities’, and ‘Logistics Technology Update’. Each panel showcased discussions between the who’s who of the logistics and supply chain industry.
Today is the last day of the event, which will include a panel discussion on ‘Reducing Logistics Transaction Costs – Planning ahead’, followed by the valedictory session including award presentation and closing remarks by Mr. S. K. Saraf (Immediate Past President, FIEO).

LOGIX India 2023 is a mix of conferences and exhibition, providing the attendees a great opportunity to network, while during the sessions highlighted topics like improving cost-effectiveness and operational efficiencies for logistics, investment opportunities in infrastructure & warehousing, and technology integration and IT enablement.
