In a move to strengthen its leadership presence in Asia Pacific, Chapman Freeborn has appointed Latha Narayan as President – APAC, effective April 1.
Narayan will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic and commercial operations across the region, with a focus on scaling business performance and strengthening integration across cargo, passenger, and business aviation services.
The appointment comes at a time when the Asia Pacific continues to emerge as a high-growth market for aviation, driven by expanding trade flows, rising demand for air cargo, and increased mobility across key economies. As part of Avia Solutions Group, Chapman Freeborn is looking to deepen its regional footprint and align its services more closely with evolving customer needs.
Narayan brings over 20 years of experience in global aviation, with expertise spanning commercial strategy, revenue management, and transformation programmes. She has previously held leadership roles at British Airways and Etihad Airways, where she managed multi-market operations and drove commercial performance.
Most recently, she worked as an independent aviation and cargo consultant, advising on areas such as network optimisation, digital transformation, and strategic development.
