CargoAi has announced a partnership with Delta Cargo to support the digital transformation of the airline’s cargo distribution capabilities, providing freight forwarders with greater access to real-time rates, capacity and eBooking services.
The collaboration marks a significant step in Delta Cargo’s online distribution and modernization strategy. Through CargoAi’s platform, the airline will be able to offer enhanced rate visibility and digital booking capabilities to freight forwarders across multiple markets.
The integration will provide more than 30,000 freight forwarders access to Delta Cargo’s capacity and pricing through the CargoAi marketplace, as well as direct connections with leading Transport Management Systems (TMS). The partnership is designed to improve visibility, automation and accessibility across different booking environments.
At launch, freight forwarders will be able to book Delta Cargo’s General Cargo (GCR) and Express products, including shipments containing lithium batteries. The initial rollout will cover 15 markets: the United States, including domestic services, along with Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, Denmark, Sweden and Malta.
The platform will also support allotment bookings and Built-Up Pallets (BUP), offering freight forwarders greater flexibility in managing capacity requirements.
Beyond direct bookings, the integration will enable Delta Cargo to use CargoAi’s interline module, supporting digital interline bookings and shared capacity management with airline partners. The capability is expected to facilitate faster and more transparent collaboration across airline networks.
“Digital innovation is a key pillar of Delta Cargo’s strategy,” said Peter Penseel, President of Delta Cargo. “Partnering with CargoAi allows us to further enhance the digital booking experience for freight forwarders by providing greater visibility, efficiency, and seamless access to our global network. This collaboration supports our commitment to delivering reliable, customer-focused cargo solutions while continuing to modernize the way our customers interact with Delta Cargo.”
Matthieu Petot, CEO of CargoAi, said the partnership reflects Delta Cargo’s focus on digital transformation while expanding access and control for freight forwarders through real-time booking and data.
“We are proud to welcome Delta Cargo to the CargoAi ecosystem,” said Petot. “This partnership highlights Delta Cargo’s vision to drive digital excellence while giving freight forwarders greater access and control through real-time booking and data. Together, we are simplifying the booking experience while strengthening Delta Cargo’s global reach and visibility.”
