Freight Forwarding company Cargo-partner has launched a new GDP-compliant Competence Center for Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare in Mumbai, India.
To ensure fast and reliable service for urgent pharmaceutical and healthcare transports, the company recently introduced a 24/7 service desk which promises a response within 29 minutes as well as a full quotation within two hours.
Cargo-partner has been operating in India since 2007 and currently has 11 offices with 135 employees across the country.

In addition to the competence centre in Mumbai, the company has Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Competence Centers in Vienna and Hamburg as well. The centre at Vienna,Austria is focused on airfreight,while the one at Hamburg is a sea-freight focused centre.
The Vienna facility at Vienna Airport, Austria provides a 200 m² handling area for reloading, cross-docking as well as ULD buildup and breakdown at a constant temperature of +2 to +8 °C, and time sensitive shipments are processed by their own screening machine.
The facility at Austria is ISO 9001:2015 Pharma certified, accredited as a Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP) and operates in accordance with GDP standards for pharmaceuticals logistics.
In Hamburg, Cargo-partner is certified for GDP compliance and has recently obtained the IFS certification for foodstuffs logistics for its 4,900 m² warehouse located 20 km south of Hamburg.
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals,a leading pharmaceutical supplier, is one the first customers at the new competence center.
