Blue Dart announced the appointment of V.N. Iyer as Group CFO for Blue Dart Express Ltd. (BDEL), Blue Dart Aviation Ltd. (BDAL) and Concorde Air Logistics Ltd. (CALL) recently. The South Asian express air, integrated transportation, and distribution logistics company also announced the appointment of Sudha Pai as CFO, Blue Dart Express Ltd. Both appointments will be effective from 1st September 2023.
Iyer has an extensive background in accounts, finance, taxation, treasury operations, financial analysis, and internal controls framework. He brings over 3 decades of experience to his role as Group CFO. Previously, he served as the CFO of Blue Dart Aviation for 5 years and possesses valuable expertise in Aviation Finance.
Taking charge of the CFO role will be Sudha Pai, a qualified cost accountant who currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer in DHL Global Forwarding, India. Pai has demonstrated her financial acumen as the Finance Director of Ezyhaul India and as the CFO & Compliance Officer of DHL Logistics (Freight Forwarding division). In her role at DHL Global Forwarding, Sudha Pai is a key member of the senior management team, directly reporting to the Regional CFO and having a dotted line reporting to the Country CEO.
