The Andhra Pradesh government has signed an MoU with NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL) to advance the state’s logistics network through the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP).
The agreement was formalised in Visakhapatnam during the 30th CII Partnership Summit, in the presence of Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Through this partnership, NLDSL and the state government will build an integrated digital platform that provides real-time visibility of logistics activities across Andhra Pradesh. The system is designed to improve coordination, boost efficiency, and support data-backed decision-making, giving stakeholders seamless access to critical information.
The Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (INCAP) will work with NLDSL to develop a unified logistics dashboard. The insights and reports generated through this dashboard will guide efforts to upgrade and strengthen the state’s logistics ecosystem using ULIP’s capabilities.
ULIP serves as a national digital logistics gateway, allowing users to access data from multiple government systems through API-based integrations. It currently links 44 systems across 11 ministries through 136 APIs and covers more than 2,000 data fields. Over 210 applications have been built on the platform, which has handled more than 200 crore API transactions.
The platform also supports several central and state agencies, including the Ministry of Coal and the Food Corporation of India, by providing data-driven insights for improved planning and operations.
