Adarsh Hegde will take over the reins of Gati-KWE as the Managing Director, as announced by Allcargo Logistics today.
Gati-KWE is one of the key arms of the recently acquired Gati Ltd.
Mr Hegde will look into the strategic and operational aspects of all the businesses at Gati-KWE. His work will also entail implementing and executing a transformation project that is currently underway, said AllCargo Logistics in its release.
He will also continue to be the Joint Managing Director of Allcargo Logistics.

Gati-KWE is a 70:30 joint venture between Gati Ltd and Kintetsu World Express (KWE) of Japan.
“I see great potential in Gati-KWE’s expertise in the business as well as the team’s passion for delivering excellence,” the release quoted Adarsh Hegde, joint managing director at Allcargo Logistics, on his appointment.

Mr. Hegde will report directly to Mr. Shetty and work closely with Bala Aghoramurthy, Dy. Managing Director, Gati and Rohan Mittal, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, Gati, along with an outstanding leadership team and a very dedicated work force.
Just last week, Mahendra Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director at Hyderbad-based Gati Ltd had resigned from the Boards of Gati, Gati-KWE and Gati-Kausar.
Allcargo Logistics recently acquired controlling stake in Gati Ltd foraying into the express business via the latter.
