ACFI establishes Mumbai Chapter, to be led by Manoj Singh

Mr. Yashpal Sharma (Managing Director, Skyways Group and President, ACFI) announced yesterday via a LinkedIn post, that the Mumbai chapter of the Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) has been instituted, making it a ‘complete pan India association comprising of all stakeholders’. Mr. Manoj Singh (Senior Vice President & Head Cargo, Mumbai International Airport Limited) will be heading the team in Mumbai and will take up the post of the President of Mumbai chapter.

Mr. Singh is an entrepreneurial minded leader with consistent success in starting, building, growing and improving profitability, performance and value of companies. He is an experienced planner, leader and specialist at identifying and capturing business opportunities with over 27 years of Airport & Aviation Industry Experience pan India.

Those present at the launch of the ACFI Mumbai chapter, apart from Mr. Sharma, included Mr. Cyrus Katgara (Partner, Jeena & Co., and Immediate Past President, AFCI), Mr. Sanjiv Edward (Chief Commercial Officer & EVP, Delhi International Airport Ltd., and VP, ACFI), Mr. Satish Lakkaraju (Global Head – Airfreight and Pharma, Wiz), Ms. Chaitaly Mehta (Director, EKF Global Logistics), Mr. Ramesh Mamidala (Chief Cargo Officer, Adani Airports Holdings Ltd.), and Mr. Rajiv Hariramani (Director, Skyways Group).

The ACFI is an association of various stakeholders of Air Cargo logistics and supply chain trade and industry i.e. Freight Forwarders, Airlines, Airport Operators, Cargo Terminal Operators, Customs House Agents and Express Industry. It was formed to support and promote the development of air cargo logistics industry in India. Apart from the most recent chapter in Mumbai, ACFI is also present in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
