Cyrus Katgara from Jeena takes over as President and Yashpal Sharma from Skyways as Vice President
The Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI), an apex body of air cargo logistics professionals in India, organised its 63rd Board Meeting on 17th July and introduced the new ACFI Governing Board for the next two years i.e. 2020-21 to 2021-22.
The new board will be led under the presidentship of Mr Cyrus Katgara, Partner, Jeena & Co. for the period of next two years. This position was earlier held by Mr Tushar Jani, Group Chairman of Cargo Service Center who is now the Ex-officio member of the new board.
Mr Yashpal Sharma, Managing Director of Skyways Group is appointed as the Vice President; Mr Sanjiv Edward, CCO, Delhi International Airport is the Honorary Secretary and Mr Avinash Razdan, CEO, Delhi Cargo Service Center is the Honorary Treasurer of the association.
The other new members of the governing body include industry stalwarts like Nirbhik Narang from Air India, Tulsi Mirchandaney from Blue Dart Aviation, Ibrahim Burak Kurt from Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal and others.
The Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) has informed that it has been eight years since its inception back in 2012 and has been serving the air cargo logistics industry, its members from the entire segments of air cargo logistics industry and the nation ever since.
ACFI believes that the joining of the new ACFI governing board members, who are from the entire segments of the air cargo and logistics industry, would bring a lot of innovation and new ideas to take the air cargo industry to newer heights of excellence in the days to come.
ACFI that works for the development of the air cargo logistics and supply chain industry, strongly believe that the success of air cargo logistics industry will not only benefit its members but also benefit the shippers, consignees, airlines, airport operators, cargo terminal operators, Customs and the country at large by making the airfreight industry faster and more competitive.
