In latest news, Abhik Mitra is reported going to bid adieu to logistics services provider Delhivery, where he is currently positioned as the Managing Director and Chief Customer Experience Officer. He will leave the logistics service provider effective 24th April 2023, bringing an end to Mitra’s association with Delhivery since August 2021.
“Delhivery and Spoton have benefited from Abhik’s vast experience and his counsel to the leadership team of the combined PTL business during an important transition has been hugely valuable. We are proud to have worked with Abhik and wish him all the very best for the future” said a statement from the integrated logistics service provider.
According to a well placed industry source, Mitra was onboarded Delhivery’s team post the merger with Spoton Logistics, and the stark difference between the management style followed in both the companies may have been a reason for Mitra parting ways with Delhivery.
Uday Sharma, who has been instrumental to post-integration stabilization and growth to over 300,000MT in Q4FY23, will continue his leadership of Delhivery’s PTL business along with Srinivasan S, Don Thomas, Omesh Khatri and Harish Sharma.
