In the VUCA world that now exists post the pandemic, it has become extremely important to ensure the continuity and coherence of supply chains, to maintain and grow the world economy. For a rapidly developing nation like India, this activity becomes even more important as supply chains are like the central nervous system – the more seamless and coordinated the connection, the better the whole body functions.
The most important tools to future-proof our supply chains include connecting India to not only the world outside but within its geographical & political borders, digitisation of processes, standardisation of various aspects, optimising & automating supply chain with the help of modern technology, adoption of a multimodal transportation system and making all of these in sync with sustainable way of doing business.
With the idea of wholesome development, the Chamber of Visionary Supply Chain Leaders (CVSCL) and Logistics Insider have organised the India Supply Chain Conference (ISCON) at the Leela Ambience Hotel, Gurugram on 19th January 2023. ISCON 2023 will revolve around the theme ‘Future-Proofing Supply Chains for a New India’.
The 1 day Conference will include 3 discerning panel discussions on some of the most trending topics in the supply chain industry, revolving around
- Strengthening supply chains in tier 2 & tier 3 towns / rural markets to cater to growing demand
- Overcoming barriers to technology & automation adoption in the supply chain
- Supply Chain Sustainability – What companies are doing to reach net zero
The conference will witness the participation of top industry leaders from various industries such as FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, Electronics, Apparel, Automobile, Retail, D2C, E-commerce etc.. The participating shipper/manufacturing organisations will share the stage with logistics service providers, Government officials (policymakers) & trade associations, to brainstorm on the pain points of the supply chain industry, the best practices, sustainability initiatives, technology and innovations, and much more.
ISCON 2023 would be an extraordinary platform to showcase and communicate about your products and services in front of big corporate shippers, the EXIM fraternity & relevant logistics industry stakeholders. The Conference will witness participation from brands like Flipkart, Sennheiser, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., Nestle, and Havells, among others.
The Conference will also bear the results of Supply Chain Trailblazers – a supply chain startup challenge. Out of the entries received for the challenge, six passionate start-ups will be shortlisted and will have the opportunity to present their company/idea at the ISCON 2023. The most unique and promising startup will win the ‘Supply Chain Trailblazer’ award.
